A.K. Rikk’s X Chloé Spring/Summer Collection

February 12, 2018

A.K. Rikk’s is so excited to debut Natacha Ramsay-Levi’s Chloé Spring Summer 2018 collection- specifically their iconic bags! We will have 55 bags and 300 ready-to-wear pieces flown in from Paris for one weekend only: Thursday, February 15-Saturday, February 17. In the early 1950’s, Chloés founder Gaby Aghion answered the demand for a label that combined the high quality of haute couture with the accessibility of ready-to-wear. Today, many “IT” girls like Cindy Crawford, Chrissy Tiegen, Olivia Culpo, Jenna Dewaun Tatum, Meghan Markle, Solange Knowles, and Olivia Palmero carry on this tradition.

Here are some of OUR favorite bags from the collection:

NILE BRACELET BAG

“Crafted in the distinctive Chloé saddle shape, the Nile day-to-evening bag features a sleek masculine top line and equestrian details. The refined articulated bracelets are attached with an elegant D-link, adding a striking feminine slant. Flanked by a studded leather strip echoing the strap, the Nile is embossed with a Chloé logo and has an adjustable, removable leather strap allowing multiple carries (including at the functional brass bracelet).”

PIXIE BAG

“The Pixie bag features unique double bracelet handles: one smooth and one faceted. This medium double handle version is a roomy day bag with a round silhouette in an earthy red shade. With half-moon panels on the front, this bag offsets shiny goatskin leather against smooth and suede calfskin for a dynamic textural contrast. A leather band with golden studs contours the base, bringing equestrian detail to enhance the bag’s feminine lines.”

FAYE SHOULDER BAG

“The clean, contemporary aesthetic of the Faye shoulder bag makes it an effortlessly elegant accessory with laid-back appeal. The flawless combination of smooth and suede calfskin adds textural depth, punctuated with cool hardware for subtle 70s flair. The Faye is characterised by the “piercing” ring loop with hook and chain — the rounded shapes complement the bag’s clean lines. The luxurious accordion-shaped style makes Faye a sophisticated carry-all.”

What to Wear for Labor Day Weekend

August 30, 2017

Here at A.K. Rikk’s we love any reason to find the perfect outfit for the weekend. Labor Day is almost here and is a reminder a break from work is important and so is being ready for “layering” season. To find out what to wear for the holiday weekend and into the fall season we sat down with two of our Personal Shoppers, Hannah Wilson and Alexander Mars, to ask about their Labor Day weekend plans, what they’ll be wearing, and how they will transition items from day-to-night as we leave summer and enter into fall.

Behind The Seams with A.K. RIKK’S – Courtney

February 9, 2017

Today as a part of our Behind The Seams with A.K. RIKK’S series we’d like to introduce our Women’s Merchandise Coordinator, Courtney Lee. She has been a part of our family for almost three years. A lover of fashion for as long as she can remember, Courtney recalls, “There was this one specific moment when everything changed for me. I was shopping with a friend about six years ago standing in the check out line with a fashion book in my hand and my friend turned to me and said ‘You obviously love fashion don’t you? You need to work in that industry.’ For some reason those words made a huge impact on me and redirected my career focus.” Get to know why Courtney is a full fledged #ChloeGirl through a series of questions in our twelfth Behind The Seams with A.K. RIKK’S interview.
