Spring Moves

March 4, 2013

A.K. is getting geared up for Spring in more ways than one. The annual debates of how soon is to soon for white jeans, when should the staff’s closet change over from Winter grays to Spring colors, and the ever important vacation wardrobes are being discussed. Just to show you why the guys are all talking is our new Eton, J Brand and L.B.M. 1911 lifestyle. These three brands are receiving so much press this last month in Details and Esquire as well as countless blogs, so we thought we would highlight some of the new arrivals!

Passing it along…

April 2, 2012

From this months Big Black Book from Esquire:

The Reward Suit

“So you’ve lost a ton of weight and you want to keep it that way. You need an insurance policy: an expensive suit, the kind you always wanted to own but couldn’t quite justify buying, one that fits your new body perfectly. Gain so much as a few pounds and the jacket and trousers will start to strain and groan under the extra weight. More than any bathroom scale or reproving looks from the missus, this suit, and your knowing just how good you look in it, will keep you in line.”

Enough Nick Wooster Already!

October 31, 2011

I may or may not be hunted down, beaten, and ripped apart by the fashion demi-gods for saying this, but honestly, I’ve had it. I’m sure you have seen pics of this gent all over the blogospere/tumblr land with his signature coif, stache’, and tatts. He is well respected in the fashion community, photographed by the Sartorialist, and lauded as a hero to a tri-fecta of male bloggers (gracing the pages of GQ, Esquire, and Details). Working for such powerhouses as John Bartlett, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and most recently Fashion Director for Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus, one would assume that he might have the knowledge to assure his own wardrobe represented a man who was in tune to how certain details should be maintained. That being said, please look at where his jacket sleeves lay. “Hey Nickelson Wooster! SHORTEN YOUR SLEEVES PLEASE!!”

Okay…enough already!

April 18, 2011

I know that this might sound repetitive of a post from a couple weeks ago, but….

Por Homme’s Must Have

and…this owner agree: This season’s serious must have is a L.B.M. 1911 cotton blazer. It is the perfect piece to throw over a t-shirt or polo, but can look so dressed up when paired with a gingham shirt and knit tie. The cotton is heavier making the piece easy to roll up and carry in your messenger bag when it is to hot to sport. I have owned mine for two weeks now and have worn it for almost as long!

Same issue!

March 1, 2011

In the below March issue of Esquire, our L.B.M. 1911 cotton blazer is crowned best Spring blazer! This guy can say from already having tried it on, the fit is great in the shoulders and arms. Also the hand of the cotton is thick but light! Perfect for white jeans and a white linen shirt (it matches my desert boots too!).
