We go where Hugo

January 21, 2013

We just came back from NY this week, and along with unpacking toothbrushes, sweaters, and salt stained boots from the trip, I had to find the notes we took at Hugo Boss! The showroom and line looked amazing per usual, but what we found about this coming falls collection was that even the runway pieces seem very approachable (translate: “wearable”)! Cannot wait to show you the best of Fall 2013!

Take this black overcoat: a great classic with a little touch of attitude:

Or this cognac look (we are predicting a very camel-ly fall)

David & Victoria for A.K. Rikk’s

November 9, 2012

David and Victoria Beckham are admired by men and women alike. We at the store admire them for being stylish trail blazers in their everyday life. David and Victoria are one of the most photographed celebrity power couples. It goes hand in hand that anyone should attempt to look good while attending events and work related appearances, but the rest of the world also gets to see them via the lenses of paparazzi.

In a most recent outing, the couple was photographed at their best. Here is a Posh & David Beckham how-to for all you fans out there. Knowing this is all just one shopping stop away, even Posh & Becks wouldn’t pass this up!

David’s Ensemble:

Hugo Boss Tie in Multi

Hugo Boss Tie clip

White Hugo Boss shirt

Black Hugo Hugo Boss Suitcoat

Grey Hugo Boss pants

Ermenegildo Zegna Shoes

Victoria’s Ensemble:

Hibiscus Dress by Black Halo

Nude Suede heels by Diane Von Furstenburg

Jewelry from Gorjana and House of Harlow

Tapioca Marc By Marc Jacobs clutch

Special thanks to Matt Sova and Kendra Clapp OlguĂn for looking strangely similar to the couple in this photo.

Then & Now

June 24, 2010

This week the Hugo Boss Men’s and Women’s New York flagship store unveiled a collaboration with local Meatpacking District artist Beatrice Coron. Ms. Coron concocted this work to celebrate the ever-evolving lower westside borough. Her sculpture is cut out of huge pieces of rusted steel, which is meant to represent the transformation of huge industrial buildings, into one of the most posh neighborhoods for shopping, eating, and partying out there.
